And Then? I Realized I Wanted To Hurt This Woman. Badly.

What a terrible title, I know. But click the link. Because this kind of wrong needs to end. How? I have no idea. Can this child be pulled from her mother's care? I don't know. I DO know that the mom is seriously damaging her. Physically and mentally. I have no idea what we can do.

Mom Gives 8 Year Old Daughter BOTOX and WAXES LEGS to Help Her In the Pageant World.

  1. it makes me so sad. i try not to say what i would or wouldn't do without being in a person's situation (it's bitten me in the butt too many times) but, wow. Just wow. When Chessa is 8, I want her to just be starting to ask to play with my makeup. I don't think a child, (and that's what an 8 year old is) should ever feel that she needs make up to be pretty, much less need botox or waxing

  2. I am with you about wanting to hurt this chick. She is obviously passing on all of her own baggage and negative self-image to her young daughter. But seriously after that aired there is no doubt in my mind that CPS will be knocking on her door any minute now. She doesn't deserve that beautiful child nor does she deserve the title of mother. Monster is more like it.

  5. This makes me physically sick.

A girl that I had a major crush on when we were both in high school found me on Facebook not too long ago. She was living in CA and "doing the toddler beauty pageant" circuit.

She never did anything permanent to her kids, but it was obvious that she was doing it for herself and not her (very pretty) little girls. I lurched the first weekend in four years that she had "off" when she just posted about how much she missed her friends.

I don't get people living their own dreams throughtheor children, but what the mother in this story did was criminal. Downright malignant.

  6. Ugh! Definitely sickening! :/

And I thought it was bad when I met a 22 year old who tried to explained to me just how lucky she was to be dating her 40 something plastic surgeon boyfriend who gave her botox injections regularly, because she "really needed" them! Needless to say, I was speechless.

  7. I saw the interview. It is INCREDIBLE. And she waxed her poor kid. And when the kid honestly answered about the pain and her mom questioned it? She freaked out. Not good.
